Make juicy, crispy chicken bites fast in your air fryer. This recipe uses simple ingredients for a high-protein, low-cleanup weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed chicken into a medium bowl.
  2. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
  3. In a separate small bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Sprinkle the cheese and spice mixture over the chicken. Toss well until every piece is coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
  6. Place the coated chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd the basket; work in batches if necessary.
  7. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C).
  8. Serve immediately for the best crispy texture.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, lightly spray the coated chicken with cooking spray before the final 5 minutes of cooking.
  • If using chicken thighs, add 2-3 minutes to the total cook time.
  • This recipe is great for meal prep; store cooled bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
