Make this creamy baked bruschetta dip for your next gathering. This easy appetizer combines fresh tomatoes, basil, and garlic with a rich, warm cheese base, offering the classic flavors of bruschetta in a crowd-pleasing dip format. Serve with crostini.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces Boursin cheese (or other herbed soft cheese)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups Roma tomatoes, diced small
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
  • Crostini, crackers, or vegetable sticks, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie plate or small oven-safe dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Boursin cheese, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix these ingredients well until the base is smooth and fully combined.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a separate small bowl, gently toss the diced tomatoes and chopped basil together. Do not add any dressing or salt to the tomatoes yet.
  5. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture over the top of the cheese base, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Remove the dip from the oven. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top.
  8. Serve the hot bruschetta dip immediately with toasted crostini, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • You can prepare the cheese base mixture up to one day ahead and store it covered in the refrigerator. Add the tomato topping just before baking.
  • For extra flavor, toast your crostini lightly with a brush of olive oil and a sprinkle of garlic powder before serving.
  • If you prefer a cold dip, skip the baking step and simply mix all ingredients (except the balsamic glaze) together. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
