Make your holiday meal or weeknight dinner simple and delicious with this easy Crockpot Turkey Breast recipe. You get tender, juicy meat every time without the stress of oven cooking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (4-6 lb) bone-in turkey breast
  • 1 packet dry turkey gravy mix
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup water or low-sodium broth
  • 1 tablespoon dried poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Wipe the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub the poultry seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper evenly over the entire surface of the turkey breast.
  2. In the slow cooker insert, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, water or broth, and the dry gravy mix until smooth.
  3. Place the seasoned turkey breast skin-side up directly on top of the soup and gravy mixture in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meat (avoiding the bone) registers 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Carefully remove the turkey breast from the slow cooker and place it on a cutting board. Tent loosely with foil and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
  6. While the turkey rests, prepare the gravy. Pour the liquid from the slow cooker into a saucepan. Bring the liquid to a simmer over medium heat, whisking constantly until the gravy thickens to your desired consistency.
  7. Slice the turkey breast against the grain and serve immediately with the homemade slow cooker turkey gravy.

Notes

  • For a crispier skin finish, carefully transfer the turkey breast to a baking sheet after cooking and broil on high for 3-5 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • If you are using a smaller turkey breast (under 4 lbs), reduce the cooking time slightly.
  • This recipe works well for a small gathering or as easy weeknight turkey meal prep.
