Scale
  • 1 pound imitation crab meat, shredded
  • 1/2 pound cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the shredded imitation crab and chopped shrimp in a medium bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Add the chopped celery and red onion to the seafood mixture.
  4. Pour the dressing over the seafood and vegetables.
  5. Gently fold all ingredients together until everything is evenly coated. Do not overmix.
  6. Stir in the Old Bay seasoning, then season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  7. Cover the bowl and chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to combine.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
  • This salad tastes best when made ahead of time.
