Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
1/4 cup sliced black olives
2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix these ingredients until they are smooth and fully combined. This forms your creamy base.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
Spoon the pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer, spreading it to cover the base.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce layer.
Top with the pepperoni slices, black olives, and green bell pepper.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before serving warm with bread, crackers, or vegetable sticks.
Notes
You can prepare this dip ahead of time. Assemble all layers except the final mozzarella and pepperoni topping. Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Add the final toppings and add 5 to 10 minutes to the baking time when ready to serve.
Serve this crowd pleasing appetizer with toasted baguette slices, pita chips, or sturdy crackers. Carrot sticks and celery sticks also work well for dipping.
