Make delicious roasted broccoli that is crispy outside and tender inside using simple ingredients. This easy side dish is ready quickly and pairs well with any dinner.

  • 1 large head of broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the broccoli florets on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the florets are in a single layer; do not overcrowd the pan.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the broccoli. Toss the florets until they are evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle the minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the broccoli. Toss again to distribute the seasonings.
  5. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the edges of the broccoli are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the hot broccoli and toss gently to coat.
  7. Serve right away for the best texture.
