- 1 (16.5 ounce) package refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups assorted fresh fruit, sliced or chopped (such as strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges, grapes)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into the bottom of a 12-inch pizza pan or a 9×13 inch baking dish to form a crust.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set. Let the crust cool completely on a wire rack.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled sugar cookie crust.
- Arrange the assorted fresh fruit over the frosting to create your desired design.
- Chill the fruit pizza for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For mini fruit pizzas, press cookie dough into mini muffin tins and bake for 8-10 minutes. Use smaller cookie cutters for the crust if desired.
- You can use canned fruit (like mandarin oranges or pineapple chunks) if fresh fruit is not available, but be sure to drain them well.
- Add a drizzle of melted white chocolate or a sprinkle of edible glitter for extra decoration.
