  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes

  • 7 ounces pepper jelly (red or mixed fruit)
  • Optional garnish: 1 tablespoon chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese onto a serving plate, shaping it into a mound or block.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the shredded sharp cheddar cheese, garlic powder, dried onion flakes, and salt.
  3. Press the cheese mixture evenly over the top and sides of the cream cheese base.
  4. Spoon the pepper jelly evenly over the top of the cheese layer.
  5. If using, sprinkle chopped green onions over the jelly.
  6. Chill the dip for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to set.
