A fresh and creamy Greek yogurt sauce with cucumber and herbs, perfect as a dip or condiment for Mediterranean meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and finely grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Squeeze excess water from the grated cucumber using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, chopped mint, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  3. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  5. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture.
  • Adjust garlic and herbs to your taste.
